I've always loved Spring. Winters in Missouri depress the heck out of me. I don't mind fresh snowfall, but I absolutely loathe the gray dismal shades of slush. The pristine becomes dirty way too quickly.

Spring, on the other hand, means growth. Sure we get our fair share of dismal rainy days, but it smells of freshly grown things afterwards. There's more daylight and it's so much warmer.
lol I think I just may be part bear. Because that's how I feel--like a bear coming out of hibernation.

My life is steadily improving. I'm coping with grief better. It just sneaks up on me every once in a while, instead of every day.

I started walking to improve my health in January. Walking 4-5 times a week, I've lost about 15 lbs. I started out doing 1/4 mile and have been able to gradually increase the distance. The last couple of weeks, I've been able to do a mile in about 30 minutes. I also park a little further out when I go shopping. Every little bit helps. At this rate, I should be buying new clothes for summer. lol
